The digital and physical world has reached a tipping point, some suggest these two worlds are fighting wth each other, while others suggest they can work harmoniously together. Either way the ability for to connect with these two worlds revolves around ‘touch’. A textile and 3D Design student aimed to create outcomes that reflect touch. Taking them outside of their comfort zones, I created and facilitated workshops with an array of objects and materials to explore new functions and scenarios that question the role of touch.
